Position Summary
THE ASSISTANT CAMP DIRECTOR SHALL OVERSEE THE WELFARE AND SAFETY OF THE CAMPERS AND WILL ASSIST WITH ORGANIZING AND PLANNING FIELD TRIPS, DESIGNATING RESPONSIBILITIES AND SUPERVISING THE CAMP COUNSELORS, AND HANDLING DISCIPLINE OF CAMPERS WHEN NECESSARY.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ASSIGNS DAILY TASKS FOR THE CAMP STAFF
ENSURES THAT ALL STAFF AND CAMPERS ADHERE TO THE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES SET FORTH BY THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AN OTHER APPLICABLE POLICIES

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
ACTS AS CAMP DIRECTOR IN THE ABSENSE OF THE OUT OF SCHOOL TIME (OST) COORDINATOR.

ASSIST OST COORDINATOR IN STAFF TRAINING AND EVALUATIONS.

FOLLOW ASSIGNED DUTIES FROM OST COORDINATOR.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
ABILITY TO BE ON YOUR FEET FOR 7-HOUR SHIFT.

ABILITY TO PASS A STANDARD SWIM TEST.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE BELOW; MONDAY THRU FRIDAY 6:30AM TO 6:30PM.

MUST POSSESS A VALID STATE OF GEORIGA DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A SATISFACTORY MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD THROUGHOUT THE EMPLOYMENT PERIOD.
