Position Summary
To provide onsite supervision and facilitation of the Community Center programs. The individual in this capacity has specific duties relative to their job, in addition to, the general rules, policies, procedures, and expectations of the Department.
Position Description
Responsibilites
• Support to the Programmer and staff when needed.
• Assist with program and room set up (table & chairs/clean up), monitoring programs, maintaining program flyers and activity supplies.
• Assist with special events and fundraising activities, decorating/room set up and other assigned projects.
• Make phone calls related to programming including reminders, updates, cancellations etc.
• Monitor on-site programs, generate sign in sheets, collect fees, distribute evaluations and assist instructors as necessary. Turn in paperwork and fees to office clerks to process.
• Provide information to the public and encourage program participation
• Site Supervisor for off-site programs, collect sign in sheets and fees; assist instructors as necessary.
• Assist with filing and paperwork related to trips and other programs as assigned.
• Handle trip preparation when needed including all documentation, rosters, manifests, pulling medical forms, name tags, trip flyers and escorting trips when needed.
• Fill in for other programs when needed that are sponsored by the Center.
• Other assigned duties as requested


Qualifications
• Experience in programs and ability to work with 50+ population
• Basic Computer skills and ability to keep accurate records
• Good verbal communication, organizational, written and telephone skills
• Flexibility to work varied hours; including occasional evenings
• Work both independently and in a team environment


Independence Fest
It is mandatory that all Staff works at least one 8 hour shift on the 4th of July for Independence Fest. The job duty on this day will not reflect the duties of the above position.

4. Employee staff meetings are a requirement of some positions and attendance may be mandatory.

5. Employees must wear issued uniform.

6. All keys and equipment issued must be returned prior to receipt of last check.

7. As a seasonal or part-time employee I understand:
a. My employment is limited to a specific season or activity and that there are no implied promises for returning to work for another season, activity or time period.
b. I understand that if a permanent position becomes available, I shall have no rights to that position greater than those of the general public.

8. I understand I must provide my Social Security Card and Driver’s License, or my Passport, or another approved I-9 document(s) prior to hire
