Reports to: Recreation Supervisor
Positions Reporting to this Position: None
To provide support for the operations of the Recreation Department. The successful candidate should have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including making phone calls. This person must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Canva. This person should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with existing staff. Must be able to work independently, be able to complete tasks within given timelines and meet project deadlines. Must be resourceful and creative. Basic knowledge of Township government and Parks and Recreation programs/activities are a plus.
•Answering incoming phone calls
•Assist customers with registration
•Take facility rentals
•Maintain Databases
•Assist with flyer distribution
•Assist with special projects as needed
•Assist with team formation for youth athletic leagues
•Provide general clerical assistance to programmers for Activities, Special Events and Programs
Monday-Thursday, 9am-3:30pm; Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
It is mandatory that the Day Camp Director works at least an 8-hour shift for Independence Fest. The job duty on this day will not reflect the duties of the above position.
