This position performs technical duties in the maintenance of City cart paths or City streets for the corresponding assigned departments.

Builds, maintains, and repairs City cart paths and/or streets.

Aids in masonry work, such as building headwalls, retaining walls, and catch basins. Grades; prepares forms, pours, and finishes concrete in the installation of curb/gutter, sidewalks and handicap access ramps.

Flags for traffic as needed.

Assists in installing and repairing drainage pipes; repairs potholes, trenches, and curbs; digs trenches for the installation of pipes; clean debris and trash out of storm sewers, catch basins, and drains.

Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
