Contractors: If you are a contractor, engineer, surveyor, or design professional, you are required to have an active Contractor's License and a current Certificate of Insurance from the Village of Oak Lawn to apply for a permit. If you do not click on the link to apply: Contractor License Application.

All Contractors are required to create an account on BS&A Online. If you already have an account log in before applying for a permit. If a contractor attempts to submit an application as a homeowner, your request will be denied.

Homeowners: You are not required to create an account on BS&A Online. As a homeowner, you are eligible to apply for a permit, but only for a property that serves as your primary residence. If our records do not match your permit application information, you may be contacted to provide proof of ownership.

Utility Companies-For Right of Way Permits: Please use the following address in Step 1: 9446 S Raymond Ave., when selecting a property when applying for a permit: "OL Utility Permit". Once your application is submitted, we will assign the permit to the appropriate address. Please insure you upload all documents associated with the project before submitting application.

Point-of-Sale Sewer Inspections: Select Residential as the property type. Select Transfer Stamp Sewer Inspection (I&I) as the permit type. You may check the box to certify that you are the owner of the property if you are scheduling on their behalf.
